Polka Dot Wedding & Event Planning is owned and operated by Allison Spivey. She began her career in wedding and event planning in 2002 in her hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina and eventually moved to the Tampa area where she started her own business.
Allison has a degree in Business Management, and is Certified by the U. S. Career Institute for Wedding & Event Planning. She has planned numerous events including weddings, showers, birthday parties, social events, corporate events and much more.
She enjoys the excitement and challenges that each event brings and prides herself on excellent customer service, weddings with ambiance, and focusing exclusively on you, because she only books one wedding or event per weekend.

Assistant Coordinator to Allison
Katie has a degree in Fashion and has a great eye for decor and design. She enjoys organizing and creating new and unique ideas for each of our clients. Katie has been a great asset to our company since joining in May 2009.
Melissa Hawkins
Event Assistant
Melissa joined Polka Dot Wedding & Event Planning as an Event Assistant in 2008. Melissa has assisted with a number of events and enjoys all the details and design elements that go into decorating and executing the perfect event.
